After 10+ Years of Vaping, This Is What Stood Out to Me About ALIBARBAR, IGET, and RELX
Back when I was in college vaping wasn’t neat.
You didn’t compare puff counts. You didn’t talk about coil life. You just bought whatever you could get sometimes from places you probably shouldn’t have 🙂
Fast forward to now, yeah things are a lot different. Better Cleaner and Way more choice.
People ask me all the time,
Why ALIBARBAR?
Why not IGET?
Is RELX still worth it?
And honestly I’ve used all three. I still do. I’m not against any of them. It’s just that over time, certain things start to matter more than others.
And for me… it’s the small stuff.
Let’s talk puff count first.. because it matters
Let’s be real for a second.
No one wants a vape that dies early.
Especially if you’re buying online, maybe grabbing a few at once, maybe sticking to the same flavour for the week.
Lower puff count = less fun. Simple.
That’s one reason ALIBARBAR keeps pulling me back. Around the 9,000 puff mark, decent battery, and it usually lines up with real use. Not perfect but close enough that I’m not annoyed halfway through.
IGET does high puff numbers too. RELX is different because it’s pods. All valid but when I’m grabbing a disposable and I don’t want to think about counts anymore
Burnt taste… yeah, I’ve had enough of that in my life
Anyone who’s vaped long enough knows that moment.
Initial days: Flavour’s good Later: we are enjoying it When Just about to empty: Yes good all good then suddenly when we smell burn and that inhale is so worst that we can’t get over with it.
That’s something I’m picky about now.
With ALIBARBAR, I’ve had fewer of those “why does this taste off already?” moments. The flavour usually holds up longer, especially on profiles like ALIBARBAR Chupa Chups strawberry flavour or ALIBARBAR cool mint.
IGET has some great flavours too, don’t get me wrong.. RELX is clean and tidy. I will talk about these two in a separate article.
But as of now, I am sticking to Alibarbar.. I’ve had enough experience of 24 flavours at least so I’ve decided to stick with it.
IGET has its place… and I get why people like it
Here’s the thing. IGET vape is popular for a reason.
Especially for people coming from cigarettes.
If someone says, “I want something that feels close to a cig,” IGET makes sense.
I still recommend it to people who want that experience. It’s not bad. It’s just specific.
Why ALIBARBAR fits my day-to-day better
For me though… I like options.
More puffs.
More flavour styles.
And honestly… better awareness of what’s going on with the device.
ALIBARBAR does a few things I appreciate:
- Bigger batteries
- Wide flavour range
- Sometimes even LED displays showing battery or liquid level
That last bit? Underrated. I like knowing where I’m at instead of guessing.
I’ve tried fruity blends, icy menthols, balanced flavours… ALIBARBAR covers all of that. And because I’m not someone who wants to buy a new vape every couple of days, that long-lasting feel matters.
If I’m browsing, I usually just look through the ALIBARBAR collection in vaping store and pick from there. Easy.
RELX pods… different game altogether
RELX isn’t trying to be disposable, and that’s fine.
There was a time I used pods a lot.
Why? Control.
You can:
- Swap flavours quickly
- Step nicotine down over time
- Not throw away a whole device just because you want something different
That’s the big win with pods.
RELX is clean, simple, and predictable. If you like routine and flexibility, pods make sense. I just don’t always want to think about charging, swapping pods, or carrying extras.
Some days? Pods win.
Other days? I just want grab-and-go.
Size, bags, pockets… yeah, people care about that
This comes up more than you’d think.
Students ask it. Workers ask it.
Will it fit in my bag?
Is it bulky?
Most ALIBARBAR devices are easy enough to carry. IGET’s compact too. RELX is slim if you’re into pods.
None of them are deal-breakers. Just lifestyle choices.
Quick Comparison
What I care about | ALIBARBAR | IGET | RELX |
Puff count | High, reliable | High, front-loaded | Pod dependent |
Flavour range | Wide | Focused | Clean and mild |
Throat hit | Balanced | Strong | Smooth |
Battery awareness | Visible (LED) | Basic | Device–pod separation |
Best for | People who like to puff and throw away old devices | Cig-replacement seekers | Control & consistency users |
Where I usually point people
If someone asks me where to start, I don’t tell them what to buy.
I tell them to take five minutes, go to a proper vape shop, and actually look at what’s available. Compare. Think about how you vape, not what’s trending.
Most people figure it out pretty quickly once they stop rushing it.
Final thoughts
I don’t think ALIBARBAR is better for everyone.
I don’t think IGET or RELX are “worse”.
I just know that after years of vaping, burnt coils, dead batteries, and flavours that don’t last… ALIBARBAR fits how I vape now.
Your habits might be different. That’s fine, vaping is personal. What matters is finding something that works for your day, not someone else’s opinion on the internet… including mine.
